Tool Origin
The Steam Inventory Widget began as a personal project while assisting a friend in setting up a Team Fortress 2 trade server. They wanted a live, automatically updating sidebar for their TF2 blog to display recent items. Something clean, self-contained, and easy to maintain. That prototype evolved into a full plugin, later refined for broader release through my personal GitHub to make it available to other gaming communities and hobbyists.
